Greetings!
This is officially my first blog entry ever. This past four days were some of the best of my life. Our son, Gabriel came for a visit to Boston. As you all know, there are soooooooo many things to do in Boston, Massachusetts....Old Ironsides, the Red Sox, the Freedom Trail, the New England Aquarium, the BunkerHill Monument, the Emerald Necklace.....need I go on? I had my whole list "ready" as Gabe stepped into the apartment that first afternoon ....and after three days, guess how many places we went and how many sites we saw??? None! No I am pleased as punch to report that for three whole days, Gabe, and me and DJ sat around and TALKED. ..........About what you might ask? About anything and everything we could think of......we laughed, we cried and then we got serious and then we got silly....and then we did the whole loop all over again. ....and again......It was wonderful. We shopped for food together, and DJ and Gabe made all the meals, which, I must say were different, delicious, and completely vegan. Better than any fine restaurant you could eat in in Boston. Oh yes---and Gabe insisted that I start this thing called "a blog." I am just getting used to using my flip cell phone, and this yung'un wants me to write something called a BLOG.....Oye vey...I finally relented....He was patient in his explanation and instructions, and would not take no from me for an answer, so today I dutifully post my first so called "Blog."
I will never forget the talks, the walks and the memories our son gifted us with these past few days. I wil continue to replay his visit in my head over and over again. Today, I just want the world to know how proud I am of him and the man he has become. God bless my Gabe.
